Count your blessings....

We wake up from our comfortable beds...smell the aroma of freshly brewed coffee...have a hearty breakfast...get into our new car. We go past homeless people, cold and hungry, not knowing when their next meal will be.

This is what happens day to day, we fail to realize that we are so blessed living such comfortable lives. And still we complain about small things like traffic, too much to do, what to wear, where to eat, where to take a vacation ect ect. We are all guilty of these, I know I am.

Just this last week my country the Philippines was hit by a major class V typhoon, 80% of the capital was under water. Lives were lost, homes were destroyed, people cold and hungry. I felt so helpless not being able to help my fellow country men; we can only do so much from here. I did as much as I can to at least help out in someway and ease the burden of our brothers and sisters.

Yes I am blessed. And blessings are given to be shared to those who need. So next time you wake up and start smelling the freshly brewed coffee, you and I have a responsibility to share that blessing.
